Nintendo's firmware 3.0 has opened a door to experience Switch games with controllers that were previously said only usable for a single game and that in itself is a brilliant move. Now, below I'll include a list of games I've tested the Pokkén controller with. I can't say which games work and don't with the GameCube as I've yet to receive the adapter (well, at least one - Puyo Puyo Tetris).
Pokkén Controller
GameCube Controller
Puyo Puyo Tetris is said to work without any issues with the GameCube controller so that's the first to be added and Bomberman R for Pokkén's list as it's a semi-retro that utilises the d-pad for movement and buttons for actions.
Pokkén Controller
- Mario Kart 8: Deluxe - Playable
- Disgaea 5: Complete - Playable
- Puyo Puyo Tetris - Playable
- Master Blaster Zero - Playable
- Spelunker World - Playable
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Unplayable (Reason: You can only change the weapons, no movement)
- Dragon Quest I & II - Unplayable (Reason: Character does nothing when you touch the d-pad)
- Super Bomberman R - Playable
GameCube Controller
- Puyo Puyo Tetris - Playable
