I accidentally plugged my MacBook into my Switch charger for a few minutes [it was dark and I was paying more attention to a YouTube video] and it won't take a charge anymore. At least I got my important data off it with AirDrop but JFC.

Who the hell at Nintendo thought this was a good idea?

That shouldn't cause an issue, since the Switch PSU is USB PD compliant, as is any Macbook that can charge over USB C, and it's not going to negotiate an unsafe voltage. Not to mention that unless I'm mistaken (I'm not a mac guy), all macbooks ought to support up to 20v charging via PD, which is higher than the Switch PSU can output. A lower voltage wouldn't damage anything, would just result in it either charging slow, or not charging at all.

It was working perfectly fine yesterday, and now it's not. The Switch charger is the only thing I can think of, tbh. I haven't plugged in anything else other than the official Apple charger that came with it.

Seems like a coincidence to me. Maybe try removing the battery and putting it back in?
Tried it already, as well as reseating the USB C thingy. I'll have to see if I can find a replacement thingy but idk what exactly is damaged if that doesn't work.
