I have a Nintendo switch version 8.0.0 with atmosphere, and i'm having this problem where whenever I boot cfw the Switch boots up and the Atmosphere Logo shows but the switch bootlocks on the switch logo.
I've tried installing a fresh copy of Kosmos but that didn't work, I tried following other tutorials to no avail. However when I boot Stock firmware, it works fine. When I boot CFW it bootlocks in the switch logo. The last thing I remember doing before the switch began boot locking was enabling every backround service on the Kosmos toolbox, and i also tried reinstalling Kosmos toolbox but nothing has worked. Can anyone help??:sad:

If it blackscreens after the atmos logo then something is missing or could also be corruption. Have you tried reformating your card?

download the latest kosmos
DELETE the folders from your sd card that have similar names as kosmos package folders (sept, modules, etc)
then put the folders from your kosmos package on sd card
many people report problems being solved after they delete the folders from sd card and then putting fresh folders from package

THANK YOU! This actually worked for me.

I still don't know exactly what's causing the issue though, so I'm a bit afraid of doing anything. I remember using Homebrew App Store to download the apps I normally use ... then whenever I got to download NXShell, Atmosphere would crash and I'd have to reboot (which usually resulted in the console being stuck on the Nintendo Switch logo).
I had to restore my NAND backup twice, good thing there's an easier solution to this problem!

It's sometimes an issue with atmo/kosmos so it's better to just install a fresh copy rather than copy paste over the old files.
