Switch 2 game cards may be readable on Switch 1

Way back when, some CD ROMs would have a single audio track that was playable in CD players, saying "this is a data disc, it is meant to be used on a computer" or something to that effect, to avoid confusion. I wonder if the "readable on Switch" part will be something similar.

Chances are it is a 3 partition cart. boot partition + 2 partitions for each version of the game. Each likely using different encryption keys.

Nah, the cartridge isn't going to fit in your vintage CD player, sorry :tpi:

This was on the Japanese website they look almost identical it's just the back of the cartridge has a slightly different shape.
I would think they would make the notch in the back bigger to prevent it from being put in a Switch 1.
