Is there any way to convert a swf file into a NDS file, so I can run flash games on the DS?
Since the Browser won't run flash, maybe it's a way to port flash games into the DS?
I know Linrider and N+ comes sometimes in the future, and that are flash games.
There is a couple of flash games I would like to have.

nah, sorry dude. The DS can't take it. Somebody ported a flash player a while ago but it was just a tech demo but the frame rate was terrible.

It might be possible in the future, when people are more experienced at programming the DS, but as things stand, flash is jut too much for it.

Not to mention flash is not exactly a good platform to begin with. It's pretty hard to get a decent framerate out of flash on a normal computer.

Ok, but how old is the Flash on DS project? How much experience in those 3 years did the programmers working on that get? Flash is not exactly lightweight, and requires a pretty hefty amount of computational power, so making it run well on the DS is not an easy task, even if it has been out for 3 years, how many people have experience in those 3 years. The PS2 has been out for much longer, and even now, with such a powerful processor, we're not doing as much as we could be with it, because so few people are good at making homebrew stuff for it.

You're missing the point dear. We're already three years in, and the DS maybe has a year or two left before its successor is released. Do you really think we'll get some magic EXP that will allow us to magically disregard the hardware limitations of the DS?

I still think it's possible if someone knows the hardware inside and out, to get flash running, maybe at a lower framerate, maybe stripped down in some form, but who knows. I'm certainly not claiming to know what the DS is truly capable of. I'm just speculating that since the homebrew community is still relatively new at working on a DS compared to the actual game developers, most people in the homebrew community probably do no write programs as efficiently as the professional developers, so if a team of professional developers worked on getting flash running, it may be technically possible.

Even the professional developers couldn't make it, eg: Opera without Flash. I would believe it is the hardware limitation.

so, how can I run flash games on my nintendo ds?
I would like to test it, even if the FPS was at 1...
Any converters etc.?

aaw... is there a way to port SWF games into the DS then?
Or do I have to recreate the whole game?
