Hi,
I own two switches both unpatched. One was strictly for online and genuine usage. The other homebrew.
However, I have recently come to know about emunand which allows you to do both on 1 system.
The issue is my homebrew switch doesn't have a clean nand backup.
So I was wondering if I enter RCM and make a backup through hekate on my clean switch then install it onto the other switch whilst installing my homebrew switches backup onto my clean switch, Would it be fine? Or would Nintendo be able to tell I swapped like that.
I ask this because my clean switch has a damaged screen so I'd rather just swap to the homebrew one. Then I could sell the other damaged switch as well.

Thanks for any help

This goes against most advice in the forum, but I think you may have a special case.

Was your homebrew Switch ever online previously, or has it always been kept online?

How long have you had the homebrew Switch?

Did you ever install any NSPs on your homebrew Switch?

What CFW(s) have you used on your homebrew Switch? What homebrew?

Atmosphere uses creport to redirect crash messages to the SD card (assuming you started with a late enough version of Atmosphere). Even if you weren't using Atmosphere with creport, if you've never been online before or your Switch is still running an old firmware, you may be able to just use nx-dreport (good luck finding it though) to wipe your error logs. Delete any illegit NSPs you might have had, perhaps "factory reset" the console, and you may just be able to go online with it and not get banned.

You might as well try. Worst case scenario you'll get your homebrew Switch banned. Which would have gotten banned anyway, or you could have left it offline. Either way, you wouldn't be able to play your games online, so no real harm done.
