Swapping hdd on modded console

Recently got my hands on a ps3 that has some cfw installed on it already. I was looking to put in a bigger hdd. How do I go about doing that?

Same way as official. If it's nor like a slim or later phat, you'll have to reinstall the firmware. You can reinstall cfw if you want.
