Gaming Swapnote/LetterBox Sendable Stationaries

I just got I Fight Dragons added to SwapNote. Here is my FC: 3652-0855-1017 Friends Name: Hai Add me and I will add you on my 3DS.

It's a shame we can't make our own '3DS stationary' - as some of those seem pretty 'poor' IMHO (e.g. "I like dragons" - well I DON'T like that stationary )

As far as I can see - there seems to be 3 'layers' to each stationary
1 - Static background
2 - Animated foreground
3 - 'invisible' zone for photo attachments
(actually I guess there's a 4th/5th part to each stationary - for web links and sound attachments)

Shame Nintendo don't release some kind of 3DS app that allows combining a jpeg 'background' with an animated GIF 'foreground' to make your own

You have to use Swapnote enough to unlock the option to use play coins, then you should be able to use the new stationary that gets sent. You may need to re-read the notes it came in, though.
