Nope, that's a weird issue. I hope to find the problem asap.

I uploaded another fixed 2.6 version. I hope this will also fix the 'x' problems, making 2.6 fully working.

Success! Latest version installed great. I also tried a random GBA game in emunand and it worked great!

As for the other issue, check my edit in the quoted post in case you missed it.

GBA games doesnt work for me, i installed everything fine, no 4 dots or anything, i have the least release, install gba game and gave error when open it.

It gets stuck on installation Data Suite screen for me.
If I want to go back to 2.5.2 I just need to change the rxtools.dat and the firmware.bin right?

I had issues with the 4 dots too:

SysNand: 7.1 (Downgraded from 8.1 then upgraded using game card)
EmuNand: 9.8

I downgraded again to 4.5 using gateways launcher and the install worked fine. Not sure if this helps anyone? I installed a patched AGB_FIRM to both SysNand and EmuNand too but I really think it was the downgrade that fixed it.

Worked with:

SysNand: 4.5 (Downgrade from 8.1)
EmuNand: 9.8
rxTools: 2.6 (2nd fix, not the latest 3rd fix. The one when the progress bar was first added, please sort your version control out lol)

Latest build of 2.6 worked perfectly for me. Thanks Roxas! Now if only I could solve this "friends app freeze" issue.

Nvm, apparently updating rxtools to 2.6 fixed the freeze issue as well.

Ok as far as I can tell there is no issues with the new build. (the 3MB file the cdn_firm.py downloads is indeed the one that works. The 5MB one I downloaded with an older revision partially work. I saw an X near the end of the progress with that one, but got 100% dots with the newer 3MB file)

I have had no issues using the Notes, Friends, and notification applets. Who ever is having issues must have jacked up their emunand/sysnand. Possibly because they updated it using CIAs?

No just replace rxtools.dat and firmware.bin with the updated files.

If there isn't any .exe in the latest package, maybe there is a reason...
Yes, now we use a python script to download firmware.bin
