@Roxas75 - Ok. something odd happened. I booted into rxMode on sysnand. I tried to use the Notifications applet. It looked like it froze but I could hear menu sounds when I used the d-pad. So I hit home and I was back to home menu. I went back to it and this time it showed the list of notifications, but the top/bottom screens did not refresh. Going to Friends list would crash at start or would show the friends list for a brief time and then crash.

I have an otherwise normal sysnand on USA 9.2. So this is a legitimate problem rxTools currently has.

Please help? Every time i use the rxtools 2.6, it hangs/freezes at the installing data part when you first use it. How do i fix this issue?

Going to Friends list would crash at start or would show the friends list for a brief time and then crash.

I have an otherwise normal sysnand on USA 9.2. So this is a legitimate problem rxTools currently has.

I'm aware of it, let me wait until i find a solution.

Hmm, for me both apps are working just fine on rx-sysnand 4.2 and rxtools 2.6.

Yeah the issue seems limited to my 9.2 sysnand. Emunand 9.8 has no issues that I'm aware of.

Perhaps firmlaunch 9.2 native_firm for sysnand? It would mean another update to the cdn_firm script. But it would allow things like full Ninjhax support and other things that depend on exploits only present in 9.2.

Would probably mean having to use a different sig patch for 9.2 firm among other things. But it could be the better solution.

Only n3DS users would have a good reason for firmlaunching 9.5 native firm on sysnand. o3DS would do better with 9.2 firm on sysnand since it has full emunand support.

So, can I downgrade MSET and install the DS profile thing to launch gateway without using a wifi hotspot/internet?

EDIT:

I tried to downgrade MSET using rxtools, then used the installer from the bluecard, but when I try to enter DS Profile I get an error.

I successfully booted rxTools v2.6, though I believe my firmware.bin is 5.6mb in size and there's no progress bar, it just said that it is successful and proceed to boot to emunand. Tried entering emunand again and it's all good. Will there be a problem?

Can someone please help me making MSET work on 6.2.0-12U SYSNAND (O3DSXL)? I have RX3D 9.8.0-25U EMUNAND (RXTools 2.6). I had successfully downgraded MSET on SYSNAND using RXTools 2.6. Also succesfully get to browser crash following the guide in this quote:

Okay, here's how you can do any of this through mset:

1. Pick whether you want to boot a (Gateway-encrypted) Launcher.dat or rxTools.dat and grab the appropriate code.bin - or both.
1a. code.bin for Launcher.dat's: http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=47753777289998764895
1b. code.bin for rxTools: http://filetrip.net/dl?YMiN8kg7dh
2. Put whichever code.bin on the root of your SD card, or grab both and name one something like rxcode.bin and the other gwcode.bin
3. Put the SD card back in the 3DS
4. Clear your 3DS internet browser history and cookies
5. Point your 3DS browser at http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/rop/?LoadCode4.dat&code.bin (you can change the "&code.bin" part to the name of each code.bin, i.e. &rxcode.bin or &gwcode.bin, I made bookmarks for each)
6. Wait for the browser to crash (should give a "Please save what you were doing and restart" message)

You now have mset installed for whichever thing you want - the rxTools code.bin will launch rxTools.dat, and the Launcher.dat code.bin will launch any Gateway-encrypted launcher.dat (that is, if something gives you a Launcher.dat and a Launcher_GW.dat you're gonna need the Launcher_GW.dat renamed to Launcher.dat)

NOTE: If you followed those tweaks a few pages back to insert the slot0x25KeyX.bin into rxTools.dat, you can't use that modified copy with this, it won't boot. I'm SO glad that was brought up, because otherwise I'd still be puzzling that out, hahah

Reboot. But I can't boot from DS profile!

Now I have slot0x25KeyX.bin rxTools.dat firmware.bin code.bin (yes, I made sure I downloaded the filetrip link for rxtools) on the root of SD Card. (The msetdg.bin was auto-deleted by Rxtools after successfully downgrade MSET)

Installed the new version, but i go through the Instalation EVERYTIME i boot emunand...

Can someone please confirm the MD5 of the new firmware.bin? I can't make it match 75a56eb75078aa5de73f3b9aa2815a3a, even when I download the files manually and concatenate them using copy /b myself bypassing python altogether. It's A9DCD99A360E8629810F8ED08403D746 all the time.
