Hacking Supercard lite Brightness control

So I got my hand on a Supercard lite the other day.

But every time i plug in the charger it goes to max brightness.
I cant find any way to change the brightness!

Its not very pleasant to look at so i would like to know if theres some button combination i have missed?

Oh comeon already! It's a Moonshell. It uses the same key combo(SELECT+L/R). Was this not findable on Google?! Pfft... anyways enjoy your flashcart~

Relax

No i could not find it, after an hour googling.

And you key combos do not work

When i start the Supercard Lite it shows this screen

And nothing changes when i press Select+ L/R

He has a Supercard Lite and not a Scds1...

@jos7960, this may sound very stupid, but have you tried changing the brightness inside the DS settings?

Something's wrong. Supercard doesn't have anything to do with your DS going to max brightness, that setting is stored in the DS Firmware and AFAIK Supercard software doesn't support changing it. That'd be news to me and I own a Supercard Lite since it was released...

If you use FlashMe you can boot into the DS Firmware by holding Select during boot, there you can change the brightness settings. Or you could use DS Homebrew alite or LoveLite to achieve the same from the Supercard menu.

Problem solved although i still would like to know if someone knows how to change the brightness level from the Supercard Lite menu


I had a M3 real in slot 1. I have a flashed ds. So everytime i booted my ds holding select (thus directly booting my supercard lite) it would read the setting from the firmware. My M3 real however does not. Somehow the settings of both carts interfered with eachother changing them.
