Hacking Supercard is crashing

Hi there

i bought a supercard dsone v3 from DX.com and downloaded the newest firmwware

it was working out well for some time but now the card is crashing in every game after some time (black screens)
i tried to format the sd card (1GB Kinston Japan) but it did not help at all

i was not able to find something on this forum with the search option, so is there anyone who could help me please? :3

Hmm.... Personally I have never heard of defective SuperCard DS One cards. However your descriptions seem to match the criteria of a defective product. So yeah just contact DX and ask for a replacement. They are very nice, and my replacement AK2 is on its way here as I type. =)

Clean the contacts on cart and mem card, run a test by holding L+R on bootup, otherwise there's nothing you can do but send it back.

It could be possible that the card is overheating.

I've heard about a few that have, and the easiest DIY way is to "make" a heatsink for the chip inside.


I would just RMA it, I believe you void the warranty for opening up the cart.

i tried the testmode of the supercard but it said the card is ok
iam going to try another sd card and see if this works

i noticed that the card crashes after level changes
it crashes in N+ after you complete a stage and in from the abyss when you change level
really strange
