I've had the same DS2 for five years now with no issue. The very few times I've had a game freeze, it was fixed by changing the setting from Patched mode to clean mode or vise versa. I've never had a problem with the gba Mother. Now i don't play a lot of action or race games, so I can't speak much to lag, never had enough to notice, but I understand there's an adjustment for it.
The GBA for that is recently been released to a request from this site, so I understand it's beeing updated as we speak (or already had been, I'm shakey on those details). I use the second to last one that SC released, works better than thier lst one, by thier own admission.
I use a 32GB card Sandisk (panasonic formatter) Anyone I've know with any super card problems (locally) has usualy been the SD quality. Oh, and I neve ruse less than class 4 for sdhc speed.
One always need to consider the source of thwe ROM. Since I use only my wn I know thier condition. If you are using one that's pacthed and in the wrong mode that can be a problem, ot trimmed? soemtimes those are trouble by some cards. but the DS2 it'sself? No problems comparitively.
The bottom line is, you get what you pay for. (from honest dealers).
It has the absolute highest rate of immediately compatible games (without tweaking needed) of any card out there now or before. Any updates are released within hours (sometimes less) of N's update. And they can most often befound easily in one or both of two places, no scrubbing the net to find them.
Hope this helps.
