Gaming Super Smash For Switch?

It will be a Smash 4 remaster with some rebalancing perhaps. Dev'ing a Smash game takes time.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we get a Super Smash Bros 4 DELUXE or something like dumb like how we got MK8 for the Switch or whatever.

Just like Mario Kart it wouldn't make sense to make a new Smash Bros from scratch, the generational gap (or lack of) doesn't justify it.

However they could bring back Ice Climbers. They could add the Smash Run mode from 3DS while keeping every mode from the Wii U version. We could get something truly "Deluxe".
Oh and Wolf because come on.

I don't expect it, but I've wanted it since the NX was announced, so I'd love for it to be true. I was actually just recently playing MK8D with my sister and said how much I'd like to play Smash on the Switch.

TBH i would be more hyped for Overwatch on Switch than I would be Smash. Just because we all know either a new smash or a port will come out on switch following previous console's standards. However, seeing Overwatch, one of the greatest FPS's, on the switch would make me buy another one

Not sure how Overwatch is even related to the thread topic, but now that we are at it (and by it I mean "what I would be hyped for") I would like Rocket League, perfect game for the Switch, very fun multiplayer.
In the other hand I would enjoy Overwatch, but expecting a port for that seems far fetched.

Are you implying Smash 4 is the worst Smash game? I thought Melee fans hated Brawl more than anything...
Anyways, there is no reason to develop a new Smash game for a simple reason: it couldn't bring anything more than modifying the already existing game. The Smash 4 engine is already 1080p60 (except for 8-player Smash) and very beautiful.

It would be basically the same game, only released in 3 years, and with new stages/characters.

Pretty much what we're asking of these "deluxe" versions. To bring additional content. Hating ports for the sake of it doesn't make sense.

Honestly a deluxe version is fine. Nintendo couldn't do much too improve on the Wii U version I think. Just add some new characters and a new level or two and everyones happy.
