Half of the players he played against sucked. Give me Kirby (whoever was controlling Kirby in the video sucked) and, I might not beat him, but Ill kick his ass....

Like I said.....New game, new rules. Get use to it.
 
I mean, it is good you enjoy Brawl, I did too, it just is not as skilled as Brawl+. Like I am sure you are a decent player, but Brawl+ requires precision, and a pace that "normal" Brawl can't handle. Either way true reason it is an inferior game is because Dr. Mario was left out.

Tell that to the thousands of people playing it. Brawl+ is being played in both NTSC-U regions and PAL regions. Its also making its way into NTSC-J now. If its worthless, I don't think so many would be playing. You still don't bring up a good argument. You say it's "good" but its "worthless"? Contradiction much?

Brawl came out for more than a year already. If people still hate it, they'll continue to hate it. There's nothing that would change their mind unless the game's depth suddenly became very deep but that's unlikely.

Post a video of yourself playing. I guarantee I can say the same thing about you and your opponents. Oh wait, you're not playing Brawl+. You're playing Brawl where it's dominated by Metaknight and Snake with camping as its main metagame.

I don't really care if I'm being trolled, but I still have yet to see a valid argument from you. SF2, SF3, and SF4 are still being played. Do you see everyone that played SF2 and SF3 move on to SF4? Some people don't like the transition to SF4 so they stay back with their own games. Of course, someone can pick up and modify SF4 as well but there's no team willing to do so. See, Smash has enough players to dislike Brawl to form a group to actually modify the game.

New game new rules my ass. We'll play what we like and suits us best. Why devote the time to play something you don't like? You have yet to have an answer for this question.

Please don't post anymore of your nonsense. Back on topic please.

BRAWL PLUSERY NIGHTLY BUILDS SET 5.0

This nightly build is for beta testing purposes only. After it is deemed stable it will be upgraded to official. This now uses Project SA .pac files for a large number of changes. It is strongly advised you use the Installation programs we have provided to install your codesets so you dont need to manually add 35 different files to your SD card. The installation program should leave your texture files untouched, but it is recommended you do a clean install or back up your textures first. Do not ever replace the files we provide (FitCharacter.pac, in which the character is one of the Brawl+ characters) as that is where many of the changes are stored.

Please choose the codeset given by the region below:

Brawl, Brawl+, or ssb64? I don't play Brawl but I don't mind playing that if you want to. Other then that, I'm up for any game. Only if Melee had online..
 
Yes, you can use USB loader. In this case, you load your game using snapshot method (using ocarina from USB loader will not work as its using an old version of Gecko OS - the one that can only handle 256 lines of codes. The new one can support much much more but it isn't released as open source since someone else worked on it). Visit the website and go to the download page. There's a package made specifically for snapshot method (via usb loaders).

@GameDragon: Brawl+ for sure! I'm trying to get good at it so I'll take all the practice I can get.

As for ssb64, no worries if you're rusty. I'm mad rusty myself haha. I haven't played that for the longest time.. so I'd say we'd be even if we ever played it. Have you been following Brawl+'s updates by the way? I haven't really played since April.. which was like 4.1(?)
 
ok i downloaded both snapshot files. one is a .bin file, the other is a .gct file.

do i put both on the root of my sd card, then load the game from usb loader with cheats on? not sure of how to use it sorry.
 
For the .gct, rename it to RSBE01.gct and put into SD:\codes.
As for the bin file, put it into SD:\private\wii\app\RSBE\al.

After those two are in the proper place, run Brawl with Ocarina enabled. In the game, open your Album and on the SD card there should be a corrupt-looking image. Open that, and it should enable Brawl+.


And yes Anakir, I have the latest B+ from the autoupdater. 5.2 I believe it is.
 
@Timis, to be honest. I don't know what to do with the snapshot method. I never used it as I play Brawl+ on the original disc.

Listen to GameDragon. He plays Brawl+ on USB loader I believe. If that method doesn't help, hop on to the IRC channel. Someone will help out.

@GameDragon, Whoa what? It's 5.2? Since when? I always thought it was just 5.0 RC1. Well, I got the latest files regardless so I should be fine. Have you played with any of the the PSA projects like Geno and such? I'm loving Cosmic Geno and have yet to try out Fighter Geno. I'm planning on trying out Zero as well.

Either way though.. I'll get back at you when I have time for games. Got an essay that's worth 40% coming up.. can't slack off right now haha. Can't wait to play you though.
