Fall 2018 was when RPG fans were due to get their hands on Super Neptunia RPG, a sidescrolling turn-based game featuring the quirky cast of the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. Unfortunately, the game was delayed at the last second, pushing it back to a tenuous "spring 2019" window. Now, we're facing the same situation once more, as Super Neptunia RPG's launch date has been changed to summer 2019, meaning a delay of almost a full year for the localization alone. To make up for that, Idea Factory International has announced that the game will be coming to Steam at the same time as the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions. An exact reason for the delay was not disclosed, but the company did mention that the game will be modified in the west, but only on the PS4. Two CG scenes from the Japanese version have been "slightly censored" to comply with Sony's rules, though this will be the only change from the original release. Those playing on Nintendo Switch and PC will be unaffected by this.

Story
The self-proclaimed hero, Neptune, awakes in a familiar world, but has no recollection of anything other than her name. With the help of a mysterious girl named Chrome, as well as three other familiar faces beloved in the Neptunia™ series, Neptune embarks on a journey through the mysterious dimension to try to regain her memory.

Little do they know, the world they inhabit is under attack by an enemy who wants to take civilization back to the time where 2D reigns supreme.

Can Neptune and her friends save the world and 3D games as we know it, or will they be flattened into two dimensions forever?

Tbh it's worth Sony "slightly censoring 2 CGs" so I can sit back and see how salty nerds get over something so pointless.

Sony has gone full retard in recent years but people really need to pick their battles sometimes. Or not, it's a lot funnier if you don't I suppose.

Leaving aside "stand tall or don't stand at all" there is an argument for fighting the little cases. That being when something properly troubling happens (and at this point it is probably inertia that is keeping Sony going as from what we have seen they have thoroughly pissed off a few of their stalwarts with said actions so... sooner or later) you can turn around and drop a stack of previous cases on their desk and have some precedent in your favour.

Well, given what little I've played of the game series, they're already somewhere between 0 and 1 dimensional characters, so it wouldn't be a great lost. *sigh* Seriously, looking at the game my first reaction was how it looked like Legend of Mana. Then I looked at Legend of Mana gameplay and realized that looked better. "Oh, but it's supposed to reference the SNES!" Uh, yea, then it looks wrong for a whole other set of reasons. *sigh*

Only 3 people so far are underage. It's the Twins and Uni. The rest are over 18. Because they needed to enter R18 island (the entrance scene is hilarious btw)

They don't have a canon age at all

The CPU/Candidates are ageless thus they remain the same forever (unless they feel like change them)

The reason why Uni, Rom and Ram didn't go to the island is because the security system assumes that flat chested girls are children (which is why Blanc had to destroy it)
