Hacking Super Mario RPG?

So it came out in Japan yesterday. I thought they'd be like 200+ topics here since it like meh favorite game and I was playing it on SNES9GX earlier (but it looks blurry on my HDTV unlike the wad injector channels.)

So will replacing the Japanese SMRPG wad with the US SMRPG rom, work?

And has SMRPG (J) VC channel even been dumped yet? I don't see 200+ topics about it =(.

Yey, it's my favorit RPG too!

But no one dumped it for now 'cause it's not on famous tracker of gamecube games.

might wanna try a different us rom? how big is your HDTV and max rez? the wii will only do 480p max with cables otherwise it'll look blurry anyways if you're just using composite. the latest snes9x forces 480p so you might wanna try that.

yeah it's a big HDTV and even on the latest progressive scan SNES9GX emulator, the picture still looks a tiny bit blurry compared to the perfectly sharp image of playing injected Virtual Console channels but ya

I can't wait for SMRPG to be dumped T_T as a public torrent but ya

I don't think freethewads works with SNES games anyway...well the last time I tried it didn't.

i think its only PAL SNES VC games. i tryed 2 JPN ones, they worked fine. tryed 2 PAL ones, they get to a black screen, no classic controller screen, just black.

I still have the box for Super Mario RPG along with a few others in near mint condition. Unfortunately possess the game cartridges I do not.

agree'd this better get released in both pal and ntsc versions, IGN shows it on there list but as "unreleased" and there is no release date, thats not very reassuring

We /PAL/ are informed what will come to VC and when, only then when it's already released.

Wow this is good news! To see a square game on the Wiiware! I really hope that means we can expect to see more Square games in the future. Don't know what they don't do it already, it'd be like an instant cash cow.

Has anyone found this dumped yet? Ive still had no luck finding it, but would really really like to see it and try it out
