So I've got Luma updated to 6.6. I can get most games to play, but not Super Mario Maker. Any reasons why?

No. Honestly since I installed A9LH on my 3ds, I didn't know I needed MenuHax for anything.

It seemed to install just fine. It won't load. When I try to load it, it flashes the 3ds boot screen, then turns black, then turns slightly lighter, then hangs.

You don't need menuhax. (In fact that causes problems so it was the first thing I thought of)

if you have A9LH you don't need to use menuhax for nothing

I read on another guide that since it's an Extended Memory Mode game, I need to reroute how Luma loads since it causes the 3ds to reboot into said mode. I tried placing the files from that guide into the appropriate places, but I'm still not getting anything. In fact, using some kind of configuration (Idr which), it caused my 3ds to not boot at all.

Well that makes sense. So, if I'm on the latest Luma, it should work without any rerouting or anything weird, right?

Does it matter that I'm still on system software 9.2? Because other games (like River City) work fine.

You need to update your 3ds to plat it! Since your 3ds has a9lh you can safely update it.

The Nintendo3DS bootloop usually happens when:

    a) a CIA is not cryptofixed (if the game is from the eshop and is supposed to work with 9.6+ firms)
    b) Your console doesn't have the required System Version on it. (playing a 11.0 game on 9.2 would bootloop you) Even with cartridges if you ignore the update message.

I did not know that. Thank you. That, I'm sure, will alleviate some future headaches for me. I appreciate it.
