Anybody know where I can download the Soundtrack for Super Mario Galaxy 2 at?

Although as long as you own a copy of the game there's nothing really wrong with downloading it, it is still illegal, so we can't tell you. You will have to find it yourself if you are sure you want to break the law.

since when did downloading soundtracks for games become illegal? and as far as I can tell it was never released for retail consumers. read the music section if you don't believe me. and are you talking about the game or the soundtrack? You have completely lost me.

It was released ONLY to Japanese Club-Nintendo members (for a price, of course).
The OST has been released to particulars, so downloading it for free is illegal.
