I have the same question, what's wrong with the 3DS D-Pad? I've never had issues with mine
3DS XL D-pad >>> Vita's.It just feels really clicky and cheap. If I compare it to the Vita's D-pad, than the difference is like night and die.
3DS XL D-pad >>> Vita's.
XL DPad is so much better over the orginal and positioned well too.
I've only played with the Vita a couple of times, but I completely disagree. The Vita dpad is better based on the positioning alone (though yeah, I know there's not much the 3DS XL can do about that)3DS XL D-pad >>> Vita's.

The main problem on the 3DS is the dual screens. if it had only one screen but still had the clamshell design, the dpad and buttons could've been moved inward, reducing cramps and feeling more natural. But hey, I guess there's nothing they can do about it.I prefer to have the analog stick well positioned than the d-pad well positioned. Unfortunately, it seems both companies can only have one or another.
I would. It would mean no DS or 3DS backward compatibility, as well as most eShop games.I wouldn't mind in the slightest if the next Nintendo handheld was not dual screen. I miss the ol game boy advance SP design.

Maybe, but I don't think the top and bottom screens combined are the right dimensions for most widescreen movies.I tought about having a Foled, which uses both bottom and top part.
Since Foled screens are flexible, it would be possible.
It would be nice to have movies on it, cause we could use the whole screen, top and bottom, to watch it.
We also would had DS and 3DS compatile, while innovating, and giving consumers something fresh and unique.

I don't own an XL so therefore I don't care.
