My apologies if this is in the wrong place. I'm looking into reversing the Super Mario 64 DS Save File checksum as a side project and I only know of one person that did it and that was over 20 years ago over at the RareWitchProject (Files attached). Unfortunately, their email and domain aren't active anymore so I can't ask them for assistance which is why I came here. If anyone has reverse engineering / checksum cracking experience and can take a crack at this with me, please let me know. I feel the checksum operates very similar to how the NSMB checksum works but I believe the algo is slightly different. Attached is an older save editor that I believe is written in C, but I can't reverse it because I just don't have the knowledge and experience required to extract a meaningful checksum. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
