    Super Haxagon (Switch Version)

    About:
Around 4 years ago I developed a 3DS homebrew called "Super Haxagon". It's was a Super Hexagon recreation for the 3DS featuring custom levels and entertaining game play. Anyway, around a month ago I decided to re-write the entire thing in C++ so it's cross platform. The result is an open-source version of the game that works on the Nintendo Switch, 3DS, and PC.

This is the discussion thread for running Super Haxagon on your Nintendo Switch. There's also a thread about it for the 3DS users if you want to run it there.

(Hopefully it's fine to have two threads about this)

    Source and Downloads:
    Main Repo: https://github.com/RedTopper/Super-Haxagon
    Releases: https://github.com/RedTopper/Super-Haxagon/releases
    Level Editor: https://github.com/RedTopper/Haxa-Editor (It needs a re-write)

    Features:
Here's the list features. Make sure to check out the repository's README as well:
    • Cross platform for Nintendo Switch, 3DS, Windows, and Linux
    • Works in both docked and undocked modes
    • An actual way to beat the game this time
    • Beating the game (HARDESTESTEST, 70s) plays the credits
      • Credits can also be found on the main menu for the curious, but you'll be called a cheater
    • Level progression
    • OpenGL rendering
    • C++ (if that's a feature)
    • Bad code (still)
    • Bugs (probably)

It has music on the par with Super Hexagon or OG hexagon? :P

Remember beating levels on OG. Good times. :D

It currently uses the music assets from Open Hexagon, another great open source Super Hexagon clone (that's also apparently now on Steam, by the way).

I'd say it's on par with Super Hexagon in head-bobby-ness!

Unfortunately maintaining multiple languages would be really difficult for me, so I'm not quite sure I'd be able to pull it off well enough for everyone to be satisfied
