Tons of praise for Futurama and I must say after watching it that it is really good. Only tried three episodes so far, but quite a few laughs. Nice pick, but agree totally that the movies 99.9% of the time are worse than the show/book/comic/etc.

kind of a dry season isn't it.

heroes crached HARD. how i met your mother become a complete drama and lost all humour.
and OMG prison break... season 3 heres thier plan to get out of prison... we'll drug one guards coffee and hope the sun blinds the other guy... oh shit clouds are coming go back go back. wtf.

still i do recommend:

stargate atlantis (mildly amusing)
the sarah conner chronicles

Battlestar Galactica and Knight Rider. Knight Rider is stupid; really, really stupid, but still I can't stop watching it. Perhaps I have mental issues?

I only watch a few shows because the majority of them don't interest me in the slightest.

-Lost (Gotta start from the beginning to fully appreciate. Season 5 is starting soon. DVD sets are cheap)
-Battlestar Galactica (awesome sci-fi show, that even people I know who don't enjoy sci fi enjoy. 10 more eps left till the end of it all.)
-Breaking Bad (Superb acting and direction in this crime drama. It replaced Sopranos for me, which says a lot)
-Top Chef (A cook-off reality show. Plenty of drama, and blow-ups from some of the contestants. Shows a lot about what works and doesn't work in cooking. Host is super hot.)

I hear the Wire is good, and so in Dexter but have never watched them. But yeah, thats all I can come up with. I would usually rather watch a movie. But, I never miss these 4 shows. Hope this helps.
