I'm looking for a place to get blank flashable 256 megabit cartridges, and if possible a flasher, too, but I don't know where to start. I'm not looking into flashcarts, just blank carts that boot straight into the game you flash to them. Where is the best place to start, and what are your recommendations?

Better known as flashcards... :D, just the traditional kind with an external programmer
(in theory a non-rewritable one could be made, but I don't think they actually exist - at least if you want compatibility with retail games; for reasonable volumes, find a professional bootlegger on aliexpress/taobao (usual keywords "gba diy repro"))

You can still find some of them (random example: https://www.ic2005.com/shop/XGFlash-256M-GBA-flash-cart.html) from sellers that didn't run out over a decade ago (clearly due to failing to keep competitive prices), but the market is deader than you would think - even if you were to buy an Ez-Flash 3in1 and just write the NOR and call it a day

Are you maybe good at PCB manufacturing and SMD soldering? http://www.reinerziegler.de/GBA/gba.htm#homebrew flash cart

Last edited by Ryccardo,
I guess flashing the NOR of an EZ-Flash is my best bet. I found a guide over here on GBAtemp, as well as another page on GBA Exploader. (I can't directly link to them, since I'm still a new member :/ )

Would these potentially work with a Reform model, which is the only one I can find on NDS-Card, or would I need a 3-1 for this?

BennVenn suggests reflashing Chinese bootlegs. They're cheap, plentiful, and effective.

I got a 256 flash advance cart. Uses the parallel port on a Flash Linker to write to it. I also got a usb version.
You want to make reproductions with them?
