Hardware Sudden Joycon LED and Shoulder

Any gurus.. I cant really remember how it happened. But both joycon have no LED and no inner shoulder response. Everything else all working. Only found out when trying out Mario party...

The ribbon for the joy con rail was most likely disconnected, so you'll have to disassemble the controllers to reconnect them. Does it charge and work with handheld mode? Also, is it a custom shell joy con?

It charge and work normally. Stock shell and never open before

Yeah that is definitely an issue with the ribbon cable. Could be it's come loose a bit, just enough that some of the pins don't make contact. It's probably not damaged since you've never opened the JoyCons before. Weird that it would happen to both JoyCons simultaneously though. Were they dropped or something?
