I asked this in another thread. Can Coldboothax be used to boot into patch sysNAND, like with FIX94's fw.img, instead of RedNAND? If that's the case, I'd be much more interested in trying this, since I'm not too keen on RedNAND as it stands nowadays.

Well if you follow the uninstall guide you can technically boot with and access homemenu however you can never access homemenu again after launching a title so it's pointless

Thanks, but that doesn't really answer my question. I've seen people booting into RedNAND, but not into a sig-patched sysNAND (for example, using FIX94's fw.img) instead. If my haxchi is setup to load into that specific fw.img, would the process work?

Home on sysNAND would be set to autoboot sig patches, Once it applied the sig patches it would try to go home to sysNAND, Instead it would autoboot sig patches again. You would be stuck in a boot loop. This doesnt happen on redNAND because home is set to WiiU home menu on redNAND & hasnt been changed to auto boot to Haxchi.

Thanks! I guess I'll have to settle for RedNAND at the moment if I decide to jump in and try coldboothax!
