Hacking Success rate...

So my friend is about to hack her 3DS for the first time using 3ds.guide. She's on 11.3 and was wondering what the success rate is like. She's extremely nervous. (I can relate from my first time.) So what is the success rate like out of 10?

She should read carrefuly the guide a first time without doing anything to get familiar with the steps, and then start, but that's really easy, if she do what the guide says, then success rate is near 10.

Also, are 3DS's from Brazil, US models? Or are they their own models?

I've had 10/10 success rate. I've done more than 10, but they all came out fine.

If you can read and don't go full retard when panicking like "oh shit I forgot to enable wifi on my New 3DS and 2.1 doesn't have the option to enable it, I'll try to reformat to see if it enables it", then it's 10/10. Otherwise, it depends on how bad you mess up. But it's you who mess up, not the guide.

You are better off just talking them through it than them reading it. Is probably a subjective opinion but is probably fact they trust you more, than themself. So is matter of just telling them what to do as long as you can directly read what the guide says. But still they would use the guide for reference if explaining isn't enough.

I've hacked all of the 3DS's in my apartment and a few others with that guide. I've yet to run into an issue that wasn't easily fixed with the guide. I would give the guide a solid 10/10

I have hacked 3 without any issue following the guide, if its your first time read the guide 2-3 times, make a seperate folder for every page on the guide and install the cfw on the original 4gb card and you can upgrade the card later

Your odds of success are near 100% if you follow the guide exactly and read the warnings beforehand.

I'd still like to add that she needs to understand that even if the success rate is high, that doesn't mean she can't brick. There is a very REAL possibility of a program hangup, hardware malfunction, power issues etc etc that can cause a brick in an instant. All it takes is one misfire for it to happen even if the chance is 0.02%. I don't think it's a good idea if people think there is NO chance in hell to brick as long as they read thoroughly when there very much is. That's how people get over confident, skip steps and fuck things up.
