Gaming Stuttering in some PSP games

This started happening only recently (after a couple years without problems). Namely K-on and 3rd Birthday. With the latter it's only during the shower scene and the ending, but K-on is basically unplayable. I'm using an 8GB genuine Sandisk, any tips here? Reformat? New stick? Do certain games not play well from the stick?

Oh yeah PSP 2000 and Prome 4 if it matters

Format the stick. Try again. Make sure you're using ISO's.

If that doesn't work, downgrade to M33, enable the MS Access speed boost from the recovery menu, patch your games with ISO Tool, and try again.

If that doesn't work try a smaller stick.

Are they cso format or iso? I've had issues where games run like shit if they're cso, but iso they work fine. both god of war games, for example.

CSO has major problems with cutscenes. It's convenient because it's smaller, but it really screws some things up.

Yea CSO is compressed and heavy graphics won't work well
