Accidentely updated to 10.3 (EU) before updating the payloads. Am I screwed, or is there a way to get to the homebrew launcher now ?

Like that flowchart says, if you have another hacked 3DS, or can borrow a friend's hacked 3DS/Cubic Ninja/already hacked OoT for a couple minutes, then no.
Ok, nice, I do have one ! Is there a tutorial for that ? thanks !

Just run the homebrew launcher on your other 3DS (or on your 10.3 3DS if you borrowed CN/already hacked OoT) and run the OoTHax installer (you might need the offline version if you're using another 3DS that's not on 10.3, since it'll try to download the payload for whatever system version it's on). Should be as simple as that as long as you have access to the Internet with your 3DS(es).

Installing oothax on my other 3DS now, "failed to download payload" but I guess i'll find a way, so after I do that, how is it supposed to put oothax on my regular 3DS ? Thanks !

The hack is stored on the cartridge. Any 3ds you put it in will load the payload. As for the failing i have no idea sounds like a server problem.

I see, i'm trying to install oothax using the offline installer (my second old 3DS is on 10.1 EU, kinda lost with which payload I need to use)

Make sure you use "sploit installer" included in smea's starter kit to install OoT3DHax. Also, input your 10.3 console FW version when prompted (default will be your friend's 3DS FW version).

You need to erase all your saves (hold ABXY while launching the game) then use the installer, it will create a savefile on the slot of your choice. Put the cart in your 3DS and launch that save (you'll be in young link's house), then press A or touch a screen button to launch the haxx.

Also Giodude, I like your flowchart a lot !!

Im sorry it's not mine but i show it everyone. I never see it brought up too often, and i might want to either polish or re-create it myself.

You have 3 options

oot3dhax
ninjhax
smashhax (I use smashhax)

smashhax needs linux
oot3dhax needs powersaves
ninjhax needs cubic ninja

Are you being for real, cause that's hard to believe, DK is Nintendo and made in japan, Sea of thieves was from Microsoft, in America. I'm not calling you a liar, just didn't know.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ok yes they were both made by Rare, but DK was from Rare back then, Rare now is owned by MS. So makes since.
