Hi guys.
Got a switch OLED that has suddenly stopped charing. Charging logo shows but does not charge. I have around 40% battery left so not completely dead yet.
Things I have tried.
Left charging over night whilst fully powered off by keeping power button pressed for 15secs to shut down.
Different chargers. Even one from my switch light. Tried youtube vids about using different power button combinations.
Been advised I might need a replacement battery becuse if it was a resistor or something the battery logo would not shown the charging indicator.
As you can see in Hekate as well it shows the charging symbol not taking power.
What do you guys think?

It might be something with the BQ charger IC going bad or some of the capacitors that is uses.
Exactly the same issue is mentioned here :

They mention that some of the capacitors of the charging circuit look suspicious.
Capacitors can go bad because they do the heavy lifting for the charging.
I had the same thing in a powerbank once.
Charger IC was fine but the caps were broken.
Ok thank you! I'll need to find someone local to me in Huddersfield UK to fix this for me. My hands aren't good as they used to be with testing and soldering unfortunately.
