Lol, i only charge $10 for softmodding, and only covers the 30 minutes it takes to set it up and test it works all right, the electricity/internet used for the softmode and for my knowledge. I mean, i have to charge to knowledge you know. I payed to get it also (internet and electricity ain't free)

sometimes I have charged $15, but only when they don't have sdcard and I get em a 512mb sdcard so the extra 5 covers the sdcard

You can do whatever you want, but a lot of people won't think it's right. After all, you may charge for your knowledge and costs, but people pay for the homebrew channel, and not your efforts.

A service is worth whatever someone is willing to pay. He's not ripping anyone off, they're getting a whole world of games for free. $50 is not an unfair price to pay for someone who has no skills or ideas how to chip or softmod a Wii.

If I knew nothing about any method of playing pirate games and someone said "Hey, for $50 I can make your Wii play pretty much any game for free" I'd bite their hand off.

I don't think anyone can argue with that.

I didn't say I was charging them for the homebrew software... I was charging them for the service of installing the hack and burning some games for them. Plus a complete set of roms and emulator of their choice GBA, Nintendo or Nintendo. Because they seem to work the best in my opinion...

i mean i got wad auto boot installer to do the stuff but still
