Steam Update: Linux, Offline Messaging, etc.

Cor blimey, as an avid Steam user this is really handy for me. Chat history and offline sending is VERY handy for me, and would have made my past 8 months a lot easier. Awesome!

Unfortunately they also removed the /me chat command. I was rather fond of that.

But there are a lot of people asking for it back currently. So they may bring it back in some form in the future.

I checked the forum and it seems it wasn't given the proper attention, but Steam for Linux, which was still in beta stage a little while ago, is finally officially released. And to celebrate this games available for the linux platform are having 50~75% discounts until the 21th of February.

By the way, I think Windows and OS X users also can buy the games with the discounts as long as the game is available for their platforms too
