Gaming Steam Doesn't Work

I just downloaded and installed steam, but when I go to run it, I get a windows saying that it is updating and that there is 0% complete. It stays like this and doesn't change. I've reinstalled it but it still doesn't work. I'm running boot camp on a 2.4 GHz MacBook.

And apparently Steam isn't down, moozxy is connected.

Steam does this a lot. Just leave it on for ages and it'll work itself out hopefully. Or go to steampowered.com and look at the troubleshooting pages.
Steam is amazing when it works well, but it falls victim to bugs and slow downloads far too much.

Try going into the directory where Steam is installed and deleting clientregistery.blob.

Usually works for me whenever I'm having problems.

Why the hell are you trying to run steam on a MacBook? The intel graphics won't run anything worth playing! Get a MBP.

I'll try this right now.




Its weird because it got to 3%, then when I looked back a while after, it was back to 0%. Then I looked back again and it was back to 3%.
