This tool works wonderfully. Too bad you didn't come up with a catchier app name.
Starfall+ 4.0 would've been fitting, because that's essentially what this is...

except this actually implements working region-free hacks for the disc channel and Cioscorp.

Thanks! Great lightweight alternative to those that don't want to get stuck with Preloader.


When using the 4.0.1 USA installer from the link you provided,
it says that "region free channels -2/2" and "press RIGHT GC-PAD 4th port -2/2"
are not found on the boot.dol and won't let you select them to patch.

It allows you to select and save the first part of these patches. Are we meant to install both?
I tested the GC Rescue boot and it worked perfectly.

Parts 1 and 2 of "region free wii" installed and work normally.

Same for me...region free channels aren't working for me with the USA version...either from the SD Channel or the usual way. Strange thing is it works fine with your Menu Loader clone for System Menu 4 (though not from the SD of course). Thank you for the new version with the rescue menu hacks and such though, either way.

delete hack Recovery menu press RIGHT NGC-PAD 4th port

add hack Recovery menu press Y NGC-PAD 1rt port

for autostart game, install Recovery menu press Y NGC-PAD 1rt port and Remove diag disc check

only tested PAL

I region changed my pal wii to ntsc.

Anyway. This worked perfectly when my wii was in PAL mode last week. Fully region free VC.

Using the NTSC version, I can't choose the second region free channels option. Should I try the PAL version? Or will that brick me?

Everything else seems to work.

Problem:
Preloader moves a file and replace it with himself.
StartPatch cant find the file/correct values.

You have to reinstall the Systemmenu->Startpatch and then Preloader.
