Change log
GC Bug fix implemented from v4.2.5 - Patch 1-6 was removed from the Region Free patches, cause it done nothing for Region Free, Just caused Gc games not to boot, I have no clue why it was ever included in the original patch or if something changed in 4.2., Also the Source code on wiki wasn't updated to 4.2.6 it was just a quick edit So if the patches ever get ported Dont Port patch Region Free 1-6

Region Free Wii Games

Just apply all 5 patches,

if any patch says no patch found error just make sure the patch isn't already installed or have a clean System Menu installed

Tested working , and Tested against bricks.

Known Region free issue:
Some Pal Games Black Screen on boot in NTSC and vice-versa this seems to be a video issue, I'll try to sort it out if at all possible
edit: Forget that just tested 4.1 region free hack had the same problem with some pal games so nothing to fix, it is just a video issue

doesnt need cioscorp or neogamma or anything. works with originals in disc channel. thats the whole point. any loader will already have region free without the need for this.

It just required alittle extra code provided by crediar and the old region free code ported.

And everyone remove any previous hacks installed by any other older version startpatch before installing this one

It didn't require anything if you used a loader. It was just region free from the Disc Channel that was broken.

I can confirm it works on a 4.2 ntsc-u without the first offset/value tested with a PAL gh world tour

Ok its fixed in 4.2.6,
just remember to remove your hacks form the Old version before updating

I currently have v4.2.4U installed.. should I uninstall the patches first and then upgrade to 4.2.6, or is that unnecessary?

i try to patch from the StartPatch_ 4.2.5U.zip (its the higher in wiibrew) i just got this "the patch sections was not found in the dol, nothing to do"


also, should i chose ios 249 or 36 at the beggining?
