I wanted to setup an R4 (wood 1.30) for my nephew but wanted to know if there's a way to start in the games folder (shows all the games like akaio when you first turn on the ds) than instead of showing the microsd and slot2 card icons. Appreciate any help or info, thanks!

Nope, there is no way. It doesn't matter really though, a few seconds here or there. The only loader that can do that I think is AKAIO, and that just remembers the last location before you launch the game. it's only for Acekards, though. here may be others, but I don't think you can do it with wood.

its all good, thanks for the response!

To speed up things, you can move all the games to the root instead of keeping them in a folder.

My Original R4 with Wood R4 boots into the last folder that was accessed. Just start up a game, shut off the DS, and it should auto-boot into the games menu. Just remember to always start up a game before shutting it off, otherwise I'm fairly sure it will redirect to the root upon the next start up.

This has worked for me since, well, the first release of Wood R4.
