Is anyone else disappointed by the fact that Star Fox 64 3D has no wifi support? It wouldve made the game 50 times better if you could battle against other people over wifi instead of just local play. Does anyone think it would be possible to add a channel that will allow this? like if any of you have read that mario kart 7 will install a channel specifically for the game to allow some extra features.

Really disappointed (although I didn't buy it), it's just a graphic-enhanced port with new controls that nobody asked for(and that break one of the selling points of the system) and the multiplayer is not so good because it can only be played locally.

I tried it at Futureshop.

The voice recordings were all different. Was not the same.

But more importantly, they ditched flight stick style controls (up is down is up) for directional based ones. I don't know if you can change this, but I couldn't in the demo. I sucked so bad with the altered controls.

But as a matter of fact i don't care about wifi in this case. It's Starfox. Multiplayer would end up like endless Starwolf battles. And those are tedious.

I also wish it had an online mode.

Yeah, you can change it.

an online mode wouldve made the system and game selling point much greater. i cant believe they overlooked it. personally, im looking forward to ace combat in hopes of an online mode. an online airplane fighter game would be sweet

yes, I'm also disappointed like you, but a channel has nothing to do with the online feature and nintendo wont do it anyway.

Remember the original Starfox 64? Yeah? Remember what happens when you press ^C? Yeah.
That was the worst optional control mode I've ever seen. And yet this is the first time I'm complaining about it. Ever. You know why? Because it was optional. I'm going to go ahead and say this again.

>2011
>Complaining about optional features
Christ, I seriously hope you guys don't do this.

Nice trolling, bro.

No trolling involved. All of those were legitimate points. The greentext was an exasperated restatement.

If you excuse me I need to complain about Dead Island's analog combat. How dare they give us options! I mean I didn't buy it so why the fuck am I complaining, but hey, bitchers gotta bitch!

I never really enjoyed Star Fox 64 in its original form and I never saw the 3DS version as anything more than a lazy port, but complaining about it having more options is just retarded.

I'm disappointed with the game in general.

My friend who is a huge Starfox fan bought it, then beat it and was pissed how nothing was new. He let me borrow it, and I never really played the original so thought it would be good because it's mostly new. I don't like it...

To be honest. I don't think online would have made it much better. It's not my type of game to play online.

Back in my day, we needed a cable to play with other people on handheld consoles. xP
Well, I don't really like shooters, but the game itself seems good, and I can't see a game like starfox on real online multiplayer, it'd lag like hell...

At least it has multiplayer. Beats Ocarina of Time 3D, and I've been a Zelda fan since I first played Link's Awakening.
Just because it has mutiplayer, it beats OOT 3d? I'm I the only one that see something wrong with that?

Anyway, when the do wifi mutiplayer, they do it well. Referring Mario Kart.
They just didn't want to force Star Fox into a wifi game. If they did, people would have to wait much longer because
they would try to up it to Mario Kart wifi standers. It would be kinda of a risk (like they didn't take a lot already :P) to
even think a lot of people would even play it online as much as they want to.

it's just the same port has the n64 i would of bought it if the mutil player options were the same but sadly you can only do arwing battles no tank battles and no man on the ground. some times it's not worth remakeing game if it does not have everything in the oringal (i'm looking at you conker)

OoT is just a remake and as far as I know has no lasting appeal after beating the story. Starfox 64 3D has a battle mode afterwards, right?
