Okay i dunno where is the right thread but i just leave here this info: If you installed (example) Mario Kart 8 DLC in redNAND with fake ticket you can use the DLC within the sysNAND too. Just tested and worked.
Ah?
It's giving me a "bad DLC" error when I want to launch MK8 from my SysNAND, but maybe it's because my nands are unlinked, idk.

Mine is unlinked too. I just use the same NNID in sys and redNAND. Also i bought month ago the DLC from eShop but now i don't want to download again just installed with a fake ticket.

Hi,

I don't understand Something..

I unliked my sysnand and rednand.

But :

When i install a game on my USB external drive, i can see it on both rednand and sysnand.

With properly unlinked nand it should not happens.

WTF ?

Are the sysnand and rednand really unlinked ? im not sure ....

If you install something directly to sysNAND (not to an usb drive) and unlink it then you will not see again in sysNAND but only redNAND. Install games to an usb drive not related to NANDs.

Well, unless you paid your DLC, I don't see how that's possible.
Ok i tried smash bros dlc and no it can't start from sysNAND so the conclusion is: If you bought a DLC from eShop you can install it with fake ticket and it will work in sysNAND too but if you didn't bought then not gonna work just only in redNAND.

Hello mates,

I have little question : I actually have Splatoon installed on my USB stick with the sysNAND. But to limit risks, I want to use the redNAND (I've already made the .img) on my SD and other stuff. However, I read here and there that if I unlinks the NANDs, I will lost my splatoon's data, so can you tell me the right way of doing it please ? I mean, should I move datas or something like this :

1) Move datas to internal Memory from USB
2) Format SysNAND to unlink it
3) ReFormat USB drive
4) Move datas to USB from internal memory

Thanks in advance :)

Well yes you will lose all of data stored in the USB drive. you have 2 option:

1. Use saviine and try this http://hddguru.com/software/HDD-Raw-Copy-Tool/ and backup your usb drive use compression and maybe after the system format you can restore everything but i think this ain't gonna work.
2. Use saviine and backup all of your savegame and after the format you need to reinstall all of your games but at least you have all of your saves.

Don't forget.. system format erase the vWii side too.

Well, so I'll have to re hack my vWii later so :) Thanks for your reply !

Did you find a way to fake the Nintendo Root CA ?

I know there is no way to proxying nintendo services because the Wii have a client SSL (or we need to extract this key) but if we can spoof the eSphop WUP Installer will become useless
