@ppgamer

No worries. I can't read jap as well. I just insert SSBB-J disc, update the firmware and chuck it aside.

Since you are already having 3.2j, you might probably want to try the 2nd part of my post, starting from the SSBB NTSC-U.

As for your Game Party PAL, I'm afraid you need to wait for some other mates to help you out. I try to get NTSC-U games only. Had bad experiences getting PAL ones to work.

Another point to take note, you might want to use DVD+RWs instead. Save you on wasting DVDRs.

Do a google search on Datel Wii Freeloader and you'll get loads of answers.

You might want to check the compatibility for PAL systems.
Follow this link and have a look there.

I'm having a Jap set, so there might be a few different tweaks. Especially so for the difference in 50Hz and 60Hz.

I've found smash brothers and i checked the list. I'll be using 60hz.
Also, if i accidentally update my wii with this, would it brick my wii?

If your console is updated to the latest firmware and you apply WBBv1.3r2 (the version that reads DL), everything should work fine. I'm pretty sure that after applying WBB, the game shouldn't prompt for an update. It didn't prompt me for an update after I updated with SSBB-J and applied WBB to SSBB NTSC-U.

heys guys ive had no luck. i still get the -001 error after using the ppf patch, burnt at 2.4 tdk +r with layer break. i cant open the iso using trucha it says error decrypting data. so i cant go thru and do it manually. when i try it on my friends wii it loads but comes to a white screen and stays there. any ideas?

thanks

Sorry if this has been answered before, but is this possible with with firmware 2.2U or 3.0U? I, unfortunately, have no access to wireless internet nor discs with the update for 3.1U and up.

I went through the thread, and I dont seem to find the information I am looking for...Will this method work on a NTSC-Jap Wii console? I have Wii 3.2J_B from WuM with Wiikey 1.9s
and I would like to find a way that doesnt require the SSBB japanese version to run the update as downloading 16GB worth of data is a killer. if I have 3.2J it should work fine if I use SSBB USA w/ WBrickBlocked the update straight without updating my NTSC-J Wii through the SSBB JAP version first right?

Ok
i've been researching for hours for this...and i think trucha signer could be my answer.
so alright, i have a wii, dunno which modchip though, looks like a wiikey clone, but can't use any of their updates. i have a NTSC wii...with a D2B mod chip
i've been able to play mario kart...and have the newest firmware (updated from a SSBB disk) but then when the game is about to start i get he black screen and it says Games disk cannot be read...etc. i dont get the 001 error..only with SMG, so if i use trucha signer SSBB wont be able to detect my chip and it would work fine? thanks alot
