Hacking SSBB DL reading wii disc speed noise

Hey everyone,

For anyone who has gotten the SSBB dual layer copy to work, does your Wii spin up louder than most single layer games? I find that my Wii spins louder and a tad more aggressively than regular single layer games. I'm just wondering if it's just me or is the noise level it outputs when it reads/spins is not normal.

Also does it kill the life of the reader when it makes that much noise?

i had the same problem with backups on my ps2 can't wait for wii owners to have there lasers die on them in a few weeks lol
