It requires your computer to be on and running a program anytime you wanna start the HBL.

Yes, all *hax works on 9.0. If you're that low, however, you should find Cubic Ninja and try ninjhax 1.

Well, i hope so, i want this 9.9 3ds xl i have (no nand backup) to have kernel access to run unsigned cia files and mess around with pasta and such and for gba vc injection. What if nintendo made a kernel exploit/ found one and tried it and found it working then updated to 10

If a minor rewording of a wiki is to be believed then there is, but who knows if they're just blowing smoke up our asses or trying to stir the pot. For all intents and purposes there isn't one found yet; I wouldn't consider "somebody has it in private" to amount to anything, really. Curious how people against piracy seem to be the ones looking for the relevant exploits the most, eh?
