Sram Explorer 1.1 has been released by its author Lestat.
This program allows you to manage the Sram banks used by Pogoshell with a nice and simple interface.

*What's new?
v1.1 :
- Add Drag and drop support for adding savegames
- Add a contextual menu
- Disabled menu and icone when a command is not accesible
- Corrected a stupid bug that made version 1.0 save 0ko files

Get it from the OFFICIAL PAGE or from our TOOLS SECTION

The link you gave is not at all the official page, just a mirror newbie made.
The "official" link is here : SramExplorer-v1.1.zip and there is unfortunatly no official page (if anybody want to help on that, you are welcome). I would prefer you use my "official" link when it's working, since I can check how many people download it. It's always nice to see the counter rising

I'm expecting to release the v 1.2 soon (in fact the 1.1 is already kind of "old"), so if you have any sugestion/ bug report, it's time to talk

Another things, I think I had already say it here, but the version 1.01 got a serious bug, so I really recommand to everybody that got it to upgrade to the last version.

Can you make Sram Eplorer load/save 64ko bank backups? because I have a Flash Linker XTreme and a 256Pro and I can't backup/write the 256ko of sram, it works with 4 banks. However this is a great tool

Does Sram Explorer work with any other program other than pogoshell sram? I ask because I use EZ Writer and this program won't let you select the size of the sram when you upload to PC.

I want to use pogoshell but haven't gotten it to work yet

Does anyone know which version work with EZ1 carts?

No, it's meant only for working with pogoshell.

I know sasq started a Ez card support in the 1.3, but I think it doesn't really work yet, maybe in next release. You can give it a try though.

keep up your good work. your tool saved my golden sun savegame. i tried your tool and extracted my savegame from golden sun. one day later the free space in my sram bank 1 (which contained golden sun) became too little and pogoshell simply deleted it, because there wasn't enough space left.

so your tool did save my (virtual) life in golden sun

news for 1.2 :
- Split the Sram function from the gui and put them into a separated dll
- This version came with a command line executable : SramExp.exe
- Add a little API to manage pogo dump since some people asked
- There is now a *.sav filter when you want to open or save a .dump
- The open and file dialog box will now remember where you open your dump last
- Now system file have "None" display in the Save ID column
- You can now import and export a single bank (64ko) if you want
- You can now sort your savegame by name, size, type or save ID (doesn't affect your dump)
- The size of each column is now save in the registery
- You can now import your .state (pogoshell settings) into a dump
- Replace the ugly message box that appear when you open a file by a message in the status bar
- Correct a bug that made Add file not working from the context menu
- Correct a bug that didn't let you choose other extension than the default one in file dialog
- Correct a bug that made the column resize not apply to all bank

you can find a beta version in this emuboard thread : http://www.emuboards.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard...t=&&#entry34195

Any bug report is of course welcome, but I'd rather that everybody that doesn't feel himself the soul of a betatester wait for the release hopefull soon (my computer don't want to boot anymore, I really hope I hadn't loose any source code
