Hacking Spoof N3DS system language to ENG from JAP

Codename STEAM always boots in JAP language on my JAP N3DS.
US and EUR version of STEAM - both do this.
There is no in-game option to change this.
So this has something to do with the detected console language.

Is there a way to load something, or boot GW with whatever button combo,
to spoof the system language version before the game boots?

Legit game? If yes, use NTR 2.3 with language plugin. If no, no.

I have a similar issue on GW, Codename steam EUR always boots in english, despite my setting language is spanish in a USA console.

Maybe it'll works if you try the trick with the spanish version of Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy as a 3ds and code name steam as a cia.

The trick works!!! I load Tomodachi life eur rom (multilanguage) and code name steam cia launch in spanish

That's one feature GW should have, being able to fake sys language.
It's actually mindblowing it doesn't allow that yet.

GREAT! Worked for me too. Just selected a EUR rom in Multirom, and clicked the installed .cia.
Now it is in english!

Worked only the first time. I played one hour, saved the game. Next day, same setup, -> japanese text.
I tried to load some other games into the multirom slot. But no success.
