I was having issues on another post where the "spoiler" tab multiplied itself with multiple blank entries and there was not any weird coding, any way to resolve this for future reference?

This tends to happen if the editor messes up the BBcode, like:

Code:
[center]some text[/center]
[center][spoiler][/center] <----
[center]spoiled text[/center]
[center][/spoiler][/center] <----
[center]some more text[/center]

You can fix it by cleaning up the BBcode around the opening and closing tag of the spoiler.
To switch to BBcode mode, use the button on the top right.

ohh gotcha. I was looking at the BBcode but I didn't see exactly what was i needed to fix

Personally I've found it a lot easier to just memorize the BBCode formatting tags that you need and type them out rather than applying them in the rich text editor.

You can apply formatting in the rich text editor, then switch to the plain text editor to see what it is for the ones that have formatting rather than BBCode in rich text mode. You'll memorize your frequently used ones quickly enough.
