Basically, my wii u gamepad is lagging like crazy. Ive tried replacing the MICA2 chip in it, doesnt fix it. Only solution is changing the channel on our wifi, which is not possible because 1, we don't own our internet and 2, starlink wifi doesnt support channel changing. However, you can split the channels in the starlink app. But i would have to sign into the app with the account the routers were bought with, and my relatives absolutely refuse to do that fsr.
how do i fix this? Is there any possible way to split the channels without an account? Is there another fix?

I don't think that splitting the channels would help. If I understand correctly it would just make the 2,4ghz and 5ghz have their own SSID

I don't think that will help with the interference with the gamepad.
If you have a phone or anything using 5GHz wifi try turning that off
