Hacking Splatoon update

I have USA Wii U 5.5 and I don't want to update to 5.5.1 so I blocked nintendo updates , Is there a way to update splatoon without updating the FW ? because I can't play online unless I update

5.5.0 and 5.5.1 are almost identical, staying on 5.5.0 isn't any better then being on 5.5.1. Don't waste your time and just update to 5.5.1 so you can play online.

That's true... But Smealum also said that it's safe to update because there's no real exploits patched.

I update to yesterday for splatoon.5.5.0-5.5.1 all ok.speedup bevor Nintendo do Release another update. And After update block with tubehax dns.107.211.140.065 primary and secondary dns.

Yeah, just update to 5.5.1 then apply the DNS tubehax thing.
Nintendo only modified their browser. Exploits not patched as far as I know...
