Ah nevermind I was just using an outdated AIO. Also, the octopus.... thing I turn into is NOT what an Octoling should transform into. Is this normal?

I think we can safely say that we're talking about having the Squid form be the appropriate form for this mod. In this case, the updated code has not allowed the Squid form to be the Octopus form. Sooo, yeah.

Edit: Welp, I now have the unsafe Octohax on my Wii U. But the question is, does it really brick people's saves? Remember, Nikki was the one who had originally found this hack, and played with a few friends on private battles. I don't think that they said that their saves had been bricked. And, sadly I don't know how to fix this..

Depends on what an "octopus thing" looks like. If it's the busted-up tentacles, that's normal. Only way you can fix that right now is by being an actual Octoling.

That's a nice ban-prevention method, but would it be possible to remove the noise and the freezing?

If you can manipulate the reroute of that menupoint, couldnt one also make it simulate a b-press instead? Seems less cruel then a freeze.

We are actually just making the game "forget" what to do if you press those buttons, doing more than that would likely take RPX patches and be rather difficult.
But... well, why bother

I havent tried that part yet but only the battle dojo, yet. Sooo, is taking it into privates with friends on the same version, settings and environment actually safe? If yes me and two friends would be in for some serious fun. Also, will there at some point be an option to just replace the shootingrange additionally? Seems like easier ground to just jerk around as opposed to the dojo.

Just the normal way, just run any cafiine server, then run any gecko application and connect both, sounds easy enough

Im surprised that calling the octohax save file hack "dangerous octohax" once springed everyone calling it that..

Usually its a full console ban, interesting.. It could be a temp tho maybe, try making a new NNID, or if you really wanna be extreme do a full console rest

Would a full console reset even work?
