With 3.0 being the firmware to be on, do we know what the latest Splatoon 2 bundle Switch's firmware has installed?

My two friends bought Splatoon Bundle yesterday & day before yesterday in Japan.
Both of them were 3.0.0. New FW will be sold at the beginning in Japan so you can buy it safely.

Just bought a 2nd switch for the heck of it and the splatoon switch came with 2.3.0 for me. Now the question is should I keep the 2.3.0 or 3.0 my original switch?

Actually 2.3.0 is better, i heard something got patched in 3.0 tho its not something THAT big.

3.0 is better. It has the smhax entry point that was patched in 3.0.1.

Depends on your saves.

Both fw have the same entry point (2.3 might have more) but if you have a Zelda save on the 3.0, I'd update that one to play the DLC

If the hack has the same privilege across a varied firmware range, than the higher the firmware the better..... System modules are going to allow more up to date featutes.

That does not mean this hack will not allowing delving deeper into the firmware and may unabscure a exploit better than this in lower firmwares.

End of the day, advice for the average user is get as close to 3.0 and wait.

I have just ordered this bundle and I'm waiting to receive it. I've noticed (after ordering) that the splatoon game will be a digital code, not a cartridge. I have a couple of questions about this -
Is there any way to get the game downloaded without having to update the console like maybe activating it in my account on a PC and downloading it, then transfer?
And if not, how long can I keep the download code without activating it? Is there a time limit?
Also, is it possible to sell the code to someone else before activating it? And will it matter if the buyer's console is the same region as mine?
