Hi,
using the USB Loader - I experience the problem with some games that crash down because my 2,5'' Samsung HDD (160GB) seems to shut down (sleep mode?) when the Wii is not loading new data. I already checked the Samsung website, but didn't find any solution for this problem.
Is there a useful Tool to set a different sleep time for my HDD?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, 2,5'' - only powered by the Wii USB.
Tried both ways - using just one or two USB connectors. Both ways work fine - after 40-60 minutes of playing the HDD shuts down.
The HDD is listed as working in the wiki.gbatemp compatibility list (Samsung 160GB 2,5'') ...

Hmm ... scary post, but I think I will give it a try if I can't wait for a rev11 ...
Anyway, THANKS a lot for your advices!

Also, thanks to my wife who made me think about using the discs again for the games I want to play longer then 40 minutes ...

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
