Hacking Speed it up!

Hey, I've been COMPLETELY detached from the gaming scene for the past year or so, could maybe the veterans bring me up to speed?
(the inspiration of this topic comes from my epic boredom watching my Soul Silver character drudge his lazy ass around)

I was looking through the forums ,trying to get my question answered before asking it, when I realized I was looking in another type of Rsomething forum! I checked the R4 website, but the last firmware update was ~2 years ago, is there something else I need?

But my main question is if there's a way to speed up the game, emulator style.

I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but I just spent half an hour searching the intarwebs looking and I couldn't find anything x_x

If you have the original R4, no, you cant speed it up with new firmware.

People are switching to use YSMenu now since the original R4 team stopped updating firmware.

Maybe you could try using cheats to "speed" up the game

btw soulsilver still freezes with the R4

Awww, I guess I'll have to research this YSMenu.

Also, SS freezes? I've JUST started the game and it seems to be working fine...for all 5 minutes I played before getting bored of everything taking so long xD
